Life Strategies Express Workshop

2 hour Express Review Workshop

Designed to review specific topics and important policy changes that may affect your life plan. Each express life strategies review workshop is 2 hours and can be accessed in person or remotely. If it’s been several years since you attended a life strategies workshop or met with your life planner, these review workshops are for you! Our team at For Families of Special Needs has developed a series of review workshops to help you update your plan for a secure future for all members of your family.

We will discuss changes to the life planning process, explain the “means testing” of social benefits, including Medicaid, and help you understand how the Affordable Healthcare Act and Senate Bill 7 affects you and your child’s future and more. Please check with your Life Planner to see if this benefits you.

Care and Transition Plan

We will provide you with the tools to develop a long-term roadmap for your special needs loved one. Our trained instructors will help you identify solutions to life's challenges, including maintaining benefits.

Communication Plan

You will create an operations manual for your child by creating a letter of intent, as it is critical to convey the plan you have created to your successor guardians.

Estate Plan

We will aide you in developing all the necessary estate documents with the support of our referral attorneys for Wills and a Special Needs Trust.
